Centenary Lecture Series: 'Understanding Urbanization' with Neil Brenner
To celebrate one hundred years of The Bartlett School of Planning, throughout the 2013-14 academic year, the School will be hosting its Centenary Lecture Series, bringing together some of the world's leading figures in planning and urban design research. Neil Brenner is professor of Urban Theory at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), Harvard University, where he teaches classes on critical urban theory, urban political economy, and socio-spatial theory; and is Director of the Urban Theory Lab at the Harvard GSD where he works closely with architects, landscape architects, planners, and cartographers to develop new approaches to understanding, representing, and influencing contemporary urban transformations.
