Day 6 Big Island Hawaii at the Top of Mauna Kea

Top of Mauna Kea We take the Hawaiian Eyes Tour to the Top of Mauna Kea. This is the sunset and stars tour starting at 3:30. Pickup in Waikoloa Village to the Mauna Kea visitors center. After 45 min we drive up to the summit of Mauna Kea or top of Mauna Kea. We spent about an hour at the top before sunset. Then 30 min after sunset, we descend the mountain a bit for stargazing. The tour concludes by 8:30 and we are back in Waikoloa Village by 10pm.
