Crossing the Pentland Firth to Orkney aboard PENTALINA
Sailing on PENTALINA from Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope, on South Ronaldsay. The crossing sails past the uninhabited islands kd Stroma and Swona. PENTALINA is owned by Pentland Ferries who have the larger ALFRED for the crossing but for the last three years she has been charters to Caledonian MacBrayne for the Troon to Arran sailings.
