Train Derailment Cincinnati Ohio, Remote Control Locomotives Derail With 7 Cars, Train Wreck In City

Train wreck with remote control locomotives in Cincinnati Ohio Queensgate Yard! The CSX train wrecked and the freight cars climbed on top of the 2 locomotives. The train derailment involved 1 SD40-2 locomotive, a cabless yard slug locomotive and 7 freight cars. This accident happened in downtown Cincinnati right over Gest Street. There were no injuries and CSX quickly removed the derailed cars so that they could open the tracks. The derailment happened January 24, 2021 at about 1:15am. I watched them remove a covered hopper car from on top of the locomotives. Power lines were down and the police wouldn't allow anyone to get within a block or so of the wreck. My video was shot from Gest Street and also the 8th Street Viaduct. I had to park quite a distance away and filmed the best views available. I'm glad I had my new coat with me and I'm thankful that my truck was still there where I parked it and it was not broken in to! Unlike a couple of my trips to Cincinnati but those are other stories.
