In this lesson, I will cover how to connect arpeggios and scales, an indispensable resource for your improvisation (downloadable backing tracks are available in the descriptions below). Just like last week's lesson, we will continue to address improvisation in the context of the major scale (Greek modes), and I will show the scale triads. We can create countless ways to connect arpeggios from the harmonic field and diatonic scales, so I will suggest some examples in A Dorian. These sequences could work for A Dorian, B Phrygian, C Lydian, and D Mixolydian.
