Dos sitios IMPERDIBLES de la CDMX 🇲🇽

Today we visited the San Juan Market, one of the most unusual places in Mexico City's Historic Center. Famous among chefs and lovers of exotic cuisine, it was here that I ate grasshoppers for the first time and tried mezcal with exotic animals inside. Yes, you read that right! We met Sergio, the owner of Animal Factor MX, who told us about the art of mezcal and the unconventional flavors this market offers. We also met Pablo Triana from Café Gourmet Triana and spoke with Yare from El Gran Cazador de México. And then… we went to another magical place: La Ciudadela, Mexico City's most iconic handicraft market, which has brought together more than 350 artisans from all 32 states since 1965. Alebrijes, textiles, ceramics, jewelry, musical instruments, and tons of color fill this place that seems straight out of a Mexican dream. If you come to Mexico City, these two markets are must-see stops. Join me as we discover flavors, culture, history, and creativity around every corner! 00:00 San Juan Market 10:35 Ciudadela Handicraft Market #CDMX #SanJuanMercado #LaCiudadela #Travel #MexicanCulture #ExoticGastronomy #MexicanHandicrafts #Mexico Video Filmed and Edited by Oko Media: https://okomedia.ca/ Photography and Direction: Jose Portillo   / joseportilloch   Editing, Audio and Color Design: Jose Portillo Script: Geno Marquis and Jessica Omaña   / jessicaoma   Follow me on my social media: Instagram   / genomarquis   Tik Tok / genomerquis Facebook / genomerquis Equipment we used to film this video: Camera: https://amzn.to/4dd4TPh Lens: https://amzn.to/3y8ZdqJ SD Card: https://amzn.to/4cYNPgm Join our membership here:    / @genomarquis
