Kishi Mai | Imperial Japanese March
“Kishi Mai” is a japanese march composed by Akira Ifukube in 1943. This piece was ordered by the Imperial Japanese Navy for a “Nationalistic” march for the nation. Akira Ifukube later used portions of the composition to use in the Godzilla franchise such as “Frigate March” or, “Monster Mega War March” The composition is mainly based on the legendary invasion of Korea by Empress Jingū.
