Roller Skates vs Inline Skater Play Game of S.K.A.T.E

We entitled this episode of the Estro Den, Roller Skates vs Inline Skater Play Game of S.K.A.T.E because Miguel Ramos, my boyfriend, challenges me to a Game of S.K.A.T.E and there are big differences between quad and inline skates that do not stop Miguel and Michelle from playing together. In this game of couple S.K.A.T.E, Estro Jen, aka "Michelle" to Miguel, kicks off the game in an evil way with a toe stop deck stall but Miguel shows Michelle up by stalling on his front wheel! Next, Miguel sets a soul grind in both directions, natural/regular and switch. Michelle matches it and nobody gets a letter again. Michelle remembers a move from a cheerleading jump and sets what they call a 'double hook' next. Miguel matches the trick and doesn’t get a letter again. Miguel sets a backside on quad skating/topside in in-line skating soul grind in both ways. Michelle matches it but Miguel questions whether it was a land since the soul foot was shaking. Next, Michelle tries to throw Miguel off with a straddle jump, but isn’t satisfied with their performance so they pass their turn back to Miguel. Miguel sets the trick that is Michelle’s favorite trick to watch Miguel perform- a 270 backslide budget acid which is too hard for Michelle to remember and perform. Michelle takes a letter. Miguel sets the next trick- an ally oop zero spin backside slide in both directions. Michelle lands it and sets the next trick- 3 X Grinds/50-50 grinds in a row and passes the turn to Miguel after not landing it. Miguel sets a fish brain in inline skating/ 50 grind in quad skating, both ways beautifully and Michelle doesn’t make any of their attempts. Bad luck, and Miguel sets the next trick. Miguel sets a 360 rock and roll but doesn’t land the set. Michelle sets a Shoot the duck in quad/Makio in inline skating. Miguel laces it. Michelle and Miguel start to get distracted. Michelle sets a rock to fakie and Miguel does it 3x in a row. Miguel sets a fakie 360 to revert back in. Michelle lands it and sets a failed TikTok dance on the coping. Then fails the splits. Miguel passes on all that BS and finally Michelle sets a handstand. Miguel brings a gust of energy and begins his handstand run with a proper death drop, but then bails on his next set. Michelle sets the next trick up with a true spin ally oop mizu. Want to play the game of S.K.A.T.E? Here are the rules- One player sets a trick by doing a particular skateboarding or roller skating or inline skating or scooter or bmx trick of their choice. Many sports change the name of the word they spell to fit the culture better. Ie., BMX riders may spell out RIDE or BIKE when they play. If the trick is not landed, or the board did not fully rotate, or another tandard that makes tricks not count- like putting your hand down, another player attempts to set a trick. Once a trick has been set (landed exactly), if the offensive player lands a trick in a line the other player cannot do another trick within the line, the other player(s) must respond by doing the same trick in their first try. If they make it the game continues; If every one gets the trick the player who set it gets a point if they miss it, they get a letter, starting with S, and so on, until they have missed five tricks, spelling SKATE, and they are out or the game is over. No trick may be set more than once in the same game and a skater defending on their last letter may receive two attempts at that trick. If the player lands the trick they have gained the lead and set the trick.
