Local residents complain about a sharp chemical smell and a specific sediment at the bottom of the reservoir and associate the pollution with the work of a local distillery. At the beginning of the year, the enterprise was disconnected from the Chernivtsi city sewer system due to toxic emissions, and now activists suggest that waste may be flowing directly into the river. Our film crew visited the site and investigated the situation.
