We visit primary schools and nursing schools in eastern Congo, where conflict continues, to get a glimpse into the lives of people living in the Congo. Freelance international cooperation consultant. Graduated from Waseda University. After meeting a begging girl in the Philippines, she started working in international cooperation while she was a student. She has supported former child soldiers in Uganda and refugees in South Sudan. While in college, she founded the NPO Confront World and started working in international cooperation as a new graduate. She also works on awareness-raising activities through publications, lectures, and blogs, and in March 2018, she received the Ono Azusa Memorial Award. After graduating from college, she developed adjustment disorder and left the organization. After six months of battling the illness, she resumed her work as a freelancer. She collaborates with a local NGO in Uganda, providing sanitary products to girls in the northeast. She is also involved in lectures, blogging, YouTube, and running an online salon, pursuing a new way of working that combines freelance and international cooperation.
