Now a quiet residential area, with rows of townhouses a little further back, this area was the heart of Nishijin textiles, where transactions worth as much as 1,000 ryo were said to have taken place in a single day during the Edo period. However, behind this prosperity lurks memories of blood and fire, curses, and the presence of otherworldly forces. We'll take a leisurely stroll through these mysterious and bizarre alleys through history. -------------------- This journey into another world takes us to a crossroads. Its name: Senryōgatsuji. The area spreading out at the Imadegawa Ōmiya intersection was once called “Senryōgatsuji.” Today, it's a quiet residential area, with rows of traditional townhouses further back.
