ATTENTION SECURITY OFFICERS: How to Prevent COVID-19 from Spreading

This video was created on Monday night 03/23/20 & there were 44K Coronavirus cases in the USA 🇺🇸 but 46K cases when we posted this video. That is 2K more cases in just a matter of 90 min. Keeping in mind there were 4K cases last Monday night, 03/16/20. That’s more than 22K case in a weeks time. Below is a notification that was sent to our clients, which covers the same information shared in the video. Also, you’ll find links below with some helpful resources regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. To all of our clients and the general public: Due to these uncertain times regarding COVID-19, Credible Security Solutions (CSS) would like to communicate what we’re doing as a company in response to the virus. Our Credible Security Officer’s (CSO’s) job duties should be considered essential work since they’re protecting our clients, their properties & assets. We will continue doing so until further notice. In addition, we have also been assisting with the enforcement of social distancing at some of our job sites. As we want to make sure CSO's are doing all they can to protect themselves, their families & other employees, we’ve provided and will replenish (pending supply availability) sanitary/cleaning items & nitrile gloves to all job sites to assist our CSO’s with this. The steps below have been shared with all CSO’s and they’ve been directed to follow these procedures: CSO’s are directed to avoid close contact with the public (6+ feet) or more. Especially if they encounter those who display signs of illness. CSO’s are encouraged to practice social distancing while on and off duty. CSO’s are directed to avoid the touching of their eyes, nose & mouth while on duty. CSS shared information with all CSO’s provided by the CDC of the symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough and shortness of breath. CSO’s should stay home if they notice any signs of illness and provide as much notice as possible to CSS so we can cover their shifts and continue securing our clients. CSO’s were directed to cover their cough or sneeze using a tissue and to discard the tissue in the trash (NOT placing it in our patrol vehicles and/or work areas at anytime). At the start & end of EVERY shift, they are directed to clean & disinfect frequently touched objects & surfaces to include patrol vehicle interiors, CSS used phones, keys, work areas, electronic keypads, etc... with the antibacterial wipes that have been provided. Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating and after cleaning their nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap & water are not readily available on their patrol for some reason, using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol & always washing hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty. Wearing nitrile gloves that have been provided on every work site. If working at locations that have a pharmacy, they are warned to be even more mindful of these precautions, their surroundings and everyone that is entering their space. As a company, we are monitoring the current events regularly, communicating with our officers and will update the information as we receive it.
