Antonio has been playing drums since the age of five, and saw his favorite drummers playing Zildjian cymbals right from the beginning. He explains that the sound of their ride cymbals in particular are perfect for jazz, and has found that Zildjian makes a cymbal for practically any type of sound and application that he wanted. After earning a degree in classical piano from the National Conservatory, Antonio studied jazz at Berklee and would go on to establish an impressive career playing with world-class artists. His many achievements include collaborations with jazz greats such as Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Chris Potter, David Sanchez and Scott Colley, and composing music for the movie Birdman.
