Based on the 2014 Rolling Stone article "Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World's Most Infamous Sex Tape" by Amanda Chicago Lewis, the series was created for Hulu by Robert Siegel, and is produced by Point Grey Pictures, Annapurna Television and Lionsgate Television. Pam & Tommy depicts the marriage between Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee and the release of their infamous unauthorized sex tape which was recorded privately during their honeymoon. This series deals with a very topical subject and clearly shows the difference in perception between men and women when it comes to an intimate video and a sextape. The series also shows the impact of the unveiled intimacy of the stars on their daily life and their morale and the toxicity of the paparazzi. We often forget that celebrities are human beings first and foremost, and this series really makes you think about that. And then the soundtrack is just incredible and the acting is breathtaking. We feel the hallmark of the director who also directed I Tonya, also with Sebastian Stan.
