82 Year-Old DC-3 Still in Service! Kenn Borek Air Basler BT-67 Landing, Startup & Takeoff at YYJ

Last summer, a wildfire started near the Sooke Potholes on Vancouver Island, and firefighting aircraft were quickly dispatched. Interestingly, one of Kenn Borek Air's turbine powered DC-3s was dispatched to drop smokejumpers on to the fire. After a long flight from Fort St. John, they dropped the fire crews over the fire and then returned to Fort St. John. A couple days later they returned to pick them up, which is when this video was filmed.
