How I Prepared for Survivor

STOP TRYING. In preparation for Survivor, I taped a paper onto my mirror that said: Don't just "try." TRAIN. You are a Survivor winner in training. I whole heartedly believed that if you train for something hard enough and long enough, you truly can accomplish anything. "It's the things that no one sees, that bring about the results that everyone wants." Stop trying. Start training. "Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize." 1 Corinthians 9:24 -25 Trying will only get you so far. An Olympic athlete would never consider just TRYING to prepare for the Olympics, they would TRAIN everyday to be an Olympian. The same is true for other goals in life. Take that same focus, determination, and unrelenting pursuit to other areas of your life. I'm not just trying to _____. I am training to _____. . . . . inspired by Craig Groeschel's message from ‪@life.church
