After living abroad for years, I started realizing that some things Americans see as completely normal… are actually considered really strange in many other countries. In this video we talk about: • credit scores controlling major parts of life • HOA rules and restrictions on your own property • food waste and oversized portions • car-dependent cities that are difficult to walk in • urban design and public transportation • why many cities outside the US are built differently • and how living abroad completely changed how I view these systems When you grow up around something every day, you stop questioning it.
