This new restoration effort has resulted in the most natural looking picture we've yet seen on video, beautifully realized grain structure, excellent color timing, a fully uncut version (unlike Kino's UHD which was slightly cut) and most of all: a complete sound restoration form the original sound negative to undo the hideous overprocessing and sync issues caused by MGM which began in 1997 and grew worse on subsequent releases. This is finally the one release that is as good as humanly possible. The first release to ever be fully uncut without a major visual compromise AND to have the English mono original audio in its best quality without any sync issues. Arrow has also outdone themselves with the supplements which add countless hours to the full legacy supplements package which is properly encoded and included. This is a dream disc for all Leone fans and one we never thought possible. ALL past versions are rendered obsolete. An instant upgrade physical media release if there ever was one.
