Rostocker Straßenbahn Einst&Jetzt

The Rostock tramway today has a track length of 35.6 kilometers with 64 stops. The first horse-drawn tram ran in 1881, the first electric one in 1904. The first modern low-floor articulated trams have been in service since 1994. During the GDR era, trams of the LOWA and Gotha types were used. Tatra trams didn't arrive in Rostock until 1989/1990. We'll show you the Rostock tramway today, and you'll see the old ones in historical footage. A visit to the museum tramway is also included. Enjoy watching!
