NBC Sports Chicago final White Sox signoff (September 29, 2024)

After a 20-year run covering Chicago sports, NBC Sports Chicago signed off on one of its 'Post Game Live' studio shows for the very last time on September 29, 2024. With that, the network also ended its 20-year run as the regional rights holder for the Chicago White Sox as the 2024 squad, who will be forever remembered as the worst team in the modern era of Major League Baseball, ended their historically forgettable season with a win against the division rival Detroit Tigers by a score of 9-5. Included is some of the greatest Chicago sports moments, including games that were not televised by the network, that they covered during its existence on the air. The White Sox, along with the Bulls and Blackhawks, will be moving their games to the new over-the-air Regional Sports Network, the Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) beginning with the 2024-25 NBA and NHL seasons and the 2025 MLB season.
