Emmett Dalton was an American outlaw, train robber, writer, actor and member of the Dalton gang during the American Old West. The Dalton gang made a fateful attempt to rob two banks at one time in Coffeyville, Kansas on October 5, 1892. Emmett was the only surviving member of the gangs ill fated robbery.
