Eternity - TADC animatic

It is finally done, after almost 2 long months of work, it is done. This is my first full animatic attempt, and by far the longest video I have ever made. I love Jax with just about my entire heart and soul and have wanted to make something with him and his depressed self for so long it is ABOUT TIME WOO I storyboarded this whole thing at 12 am on March 21st, so pretty much right after episode 8 came out, and It took me an hour to finish the original storyboard, and then almooost 2 whole months for the final version (plus tweaks) to be done. The original goal was to get this out before June 4th, which was a success!! I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get it done, let alone actually commit to it, but I did it, and it’s done, and it looks sick, and I am SO happy with how this came out!! I studied the circus so hard for this, trying to get all the backgrounds as accurate to what they are in the show as possible. Making everyone be where they most likely would actually BE and not just floating around in a gray void. I’m quite proud of my background work if I do say so myself, I usually hate making backgrounds. Yeah, it was DEFINITELY tedious at times but I had a lot of fun with ‘em and I think they look great. I also wanted to make this seem as close to how Jax would act as possible, as “in character” as the wise people say. It may not be perfect, but I relate to him a lot and I tried my best to do him justice. This is just going to be sappy, but I’m so proud of myself for ACTUALLY finishing this. I love my complicated boy. He means so much to me and digital circus in general has been my biggest comfort for 2 years straight. It has seriously gotten me through one of the worst patches of my life and to have made something like this for something that means so much to me is just so cool. Thank you Gooseworx for whipping up magic in 2 weeks, you will forever have my appreciation. I’m not sure if this will make sense after episode 9 if we get a Ribbit abstraction flashback, but hey, who cares we are French. Also that’s the fun of it, is it not? mystertyryyyyyyryryryyr and guessing and hypothesizing about purple boards and their tragic backstories. I mean he’s got to have SOMETHING back there, no? Little bit of flat, WHOLE lot of backstory. Anyway… Jax. He’s my favorite and I love him he’s my baby boy, my sweet little horrible creature, my twig man, my little bunny baby, my googly booogly wiggly toes.
