The court ruled in favor of the Tourism Department in this case, ordering the land to be vacated. Following the court orders, notices were issued to residents of the illegal colony about five months ago. Many families have since moved out, but some remain illegally. Upon arrival, R.S. Bath persuaded the residents to remove their belongings and vacate the area as soon as possible. A heavy police force was deployed, and the entire area was turned into a cantonment.
