From there, the route continues over the Kehlstein and the scenic Mannlgrat – a spectacular ridge path with easy climbing and magnificent views of the Watzmann, Königssee, and the Berchtesgaden Alps. At the summit of the Hoher Göll, an impressive panorama awaits us, extending as far as the Salzburger Land, the Tennengebirge, and the Hohe Tauern. The descent takes us via the Schusterroute, a steeper, more challenging variant with cable safety devices, which leads down to the Purtschellerhaus. After a well-deserved refreshment, the route returns to the starting point at Ofnerboden.
