3D Printing Unique Speakers inspired by $100k design
Hey everyone, Iain here! In this video, I'll show you my process of designing and crafting a unique pair of bookshelf speakers that ended up costing less than $150. Links for the files to build these: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1359... https://www.printables.com/model/1277... I was inspired by the iconic design of the B&W Nautilus and its connection to the Golden Ratio (Fibonacci sequence). Now, I'm no audiophile, so this project is less about the science and more about the making and crafting process. That being said, they do sound amazing. I've been using these for the past six months, and honestly, they're the best speakers I've ever owned. The bass is a little shy on its own, but paired with a subwoofer they have seriously clean sound. If you're curious about the B&W Nautilus and the amazing engineering behind them, here are a few videos I watched during my research: Bowers & Wilkins - Beyond the Curve - Nautilus 30th Anniversary: • Bowers & Wilkins - Beyond the Curve - Naut... $100k Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus Loudspeaker Demo Experience & History: • $100k Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus Loudspeake...
