I begin near Galata, explore the busy markets and spice stalls, visit Hagia Sophia, enter Topkapi Palace, discover the palace kitchens, the Divan, the Enderun school, the Harem, the hammam, and finally meet some of the most unforgettable figures of the Ottoman world. This episode is not just about sultans and palaces. It is about daily life, crowded streets, working people, traditions, music, celebrations, politics, and the private world behind palace walls.
