Tenkara Pocket Rod Fishing #tenkara

This video is a continuation where my Western Native Trout Challenge- IDAHO bull trout video ended. Fishing with Brendan Harden who was recently announced as Wasatch Tenkara Rods future sales experience manager, he wondered if I would be interested in hanging up the Darth Quattro rod and pulling out the new Snub Nose. . Now I never made this public but I was not a fan of this rod on paper when it was announced. I found it to lack innovation and perhaps welcome unnecessary concepts such as a four zoom rod in pocket form. However, this particular creek was special in the sense that the bull trout were literally allowing us to catch them POINT BLANK. This really was a circumstance that allowed proper fishing of the Snub Nose and it gave me a new perspective that actually warranted a change of heart. I like the Snub Nose. I think the glow tip and 4 zoom concept is still a little quirky but the action is surprisingly welcoming and I think pocket rod users will enjoy this one.
