This week, Viajando com Toledo visited Serra do Cipó, one of the most sought-after destinations in Minas Gerais for those seeking waterfalls, nature, and beautiful landscapes. We started the program at the traditional Venda do Zeca, a meeting point for the local community. Besides the famous cassava cake, we reminisced about family stories and the importance of the establishment to the region. We also visited Cachoeira Grande, one of the best-known attractions in Serra do Cipó. With its waterfalls and natural pools, it attracts visitors from all over Brazil and helps highlight the environmental importance of the region, known as the Garden of Brazil. We then went to the Camping Clube Véu da Noiva, where we explored the facilities, which include camping, chalets, a restaurant, day use, and access to the famous Cachoeira Véu da Noiva waterfall, reinforcing the importance of environmental preservation. The program also followed the Bandeirinhas Project, an initiative that involves children, families, and educators in actions to raise awareness and care for nature. During our stay, we stayed at Pousada Adega Cipó and spoke with Patrícia, a local artisan and businesswoman, about the traditional craft fair in Serra do Cipó.
