10 Cheap Tools that FINALLY got me Cooking (Every Day)
Health and budget were simultaneous motivators for me to start to systematically cook all my meals, and I’m WAY too old to only JUST be figuring it out now, but hey, "now" is when it’s happening, and in this video, I’ll share the 10 tools that ACTUALLY got me cooking consistently in just one short month. =============== TIMELINE + LINKS =============== Some of the links below are affiliate links. Shiny, especially pans like polished stainless steel will reflect the laser too much to get an accurate reading. 🔗👉 The Nonstick pan I use on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4ehxipu 🚨👆 This is VERY expensive for a non-stick pan, and nonstick pans will likely need to be replaced within 5 years of daily use, and the non-stickiness is pretty consistent across all price-ranges, HOWEVER, I got this one to combat the glass-electric cooktop I use with such insane heating and temperature surfing, so this multilayered pan (it’s heavy) helps give me some time to adjust with less worries of overheating. 1:27 Tool 2 🔗👉 Dedicated Steamer Pot on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4v6kObp 🚨👆 This is the exact one I use, and it is, indeed, induction-friendly. Again, I use a glass-electric, but when I save enough money I will be changing to induction. Point is, if you use induction, you already know how important it is to ensure you buy magnetic/induction pots and pans. 2:21 Tool 3 🔗👉 6.25 Qt Mixing Bowl on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4vbLMP9 🚨👆 You saw the video, whether it’s broccoli or another frozen vegetable I buy from Costco, it’s 500g every single day. This 6.25 qt bowl is perfect to me for this quantity, which is all to say, you may need a bigger one, or prefer a smaller one. This specific size is what’s right for me. 3:16 Tool 4 🔗👉 Dual Pot-Lid Holder on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4xzL4gb 🚨👆 There are so many options on amazon, and I’m not an expert. This is just the one I bought, specifically because it accommodates two lids and has that removable easy-to-wash tray, but it does feel kind of cheap. Totally fine for me, but aesthetically, you might want something nicer. 4:09 Tool 5 🔗👉 Silicone Trivets (Pack of 4) on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4el8OeT 🚨👆 Silicone trivets also come in rectangles, honeycomb patters, etc. I’m not knowledgeable. These ones just yield the results I need for certainty when I’m moving hot cooking tools around. 4:42 Tool(s) 6 🔗👉 My main silicone spatula on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4eIix0c 🔗👉 The super thin one I use on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4xtKQaf 🔗👉 The tongs I use on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4vRvpXS 🔗👉 Set for scraping and stirring on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4vLRiHV 5:36 Tool 7 🔗👉 Main magnetic hooks I use on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4v5hNYZ 🔗👉 The large one for my scissors on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3QFLErW 6:09 Tool 8 🔗👉 4-Cup Anyday Bowl on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4v6lxJF 🔗👉 8-Cup Anyday Bowl on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3Sm4FQE 🚨👆 These are the most expensive thing in this video, and I sort of “regret” getting the larger 8-cup one. Not because it’s bad - it’s great - but as a single human being who lives alone, I rarely need the capacity so it sits WAY more than getting used. 6:59 Tool 9 🔗👉 Countertop Broom Kit on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4fGmJyJ 7:46 Tool 10 🔗👉 The sink drain strainers I love on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4esrERH #EverydayUse #Home #Cooking Want to connect more?
