Camping Alone with New Gear in the Wilderness
Join me on this trip into the New Zealand Backcountry. I needed to get out into the mountains for the night for a bit of a reset. I loaded up my new pack with a bunch of gear and hiked into one of my favourite camp locations. I had expected the weather to be quite bad on this trip but was pleasantly surprised, at least for the first day. On the second day I woke up to it pouring with rain but my tent and tarp set up meant I stayed nice and dry until it was time to hike back out. I got to test out a bunch of cool new gear on this trip. You can find most of the gear I use at Bivouac Outdoor: https://www.bivouac.co.nz If you have any comments, feedback or suggestions feel free to leave them down below.
