Friends at the Glad Cafe, Glasgow

This was our third time at Sammy's @ The Glad Cafe in Glasgow's Southside - a kind of open mic / blackboard concert which is so popular, it's usually oversubscribed. The venue is a gem and has brilliant sound. It also has a very warm, lively audience. It's such a great night that the room has been packed all three times that we've been here, with standing room only. Bill wrote this song - "Friends I want to tell you" a few years ago and says he keeps hoping that it will become irrelevant but, if anything, seems more relevant now than ever.
