I'm building a new wooden garage door from 150x50mm pine boards and 150x2.5mm lintels. The threshold is treated with a bioprotective, water-repellent compound (green), and the gaps between the door panels are treated with foam. The exterior is covered with C8 corrugated sheet metal (RAL1014 0.45). It has a metal push-button handle, matching hinges, and an internal mortise lock. The door is strong, warm, and reliable.
