AfCFTA I South Africa's exporters start preferential trading: Wamkele Mene
In what has been termed a historic step in expanding trade, President Cyril Ramaphosa launched the official start of preferential trade by South Africa under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, AfCFTA. The launch, attended by the Secretary-General of the African Continent Free Trade Area secretariat, Wamkele Mene, also coincided with the 6th meeting of the Council of African Trade Ministers and included a display of the sending off of the first shipment of products from South Africa to other member countries.
