When traveling by public transport from the south or center of the country, Armenia will be your starting point. From the north, Pereira takes you to Salento and, from there, to Cocora. The ease of transportation and affordable costs (between 5,000 and 10,000 Colombian pesos) make this trip ideal for all budgets. And for those who wish to explore the valley in a unique way, traditional Willys Jeeps offer round-trip trips for just 9,000 Colombian pesos 🚙. Once in Cocora, we recommend continuing to the official parking lot of the palm forest to avoid unnecessary walking.
