MTB Italy 2025 - Trans Liguria
This was an epic 4 day mountain bike ride in Italy's Ligurian coast, or Italian Riviera. The ride takes place in the foothills of the Alps between Finale Ligure and Ventimiglia and was guided and shuttled by MTB Italy, located in Finale Ligure. The Trans Liguria ride covers about 80 miles with 7-8k of climbing and 10-15k descending. The trails are intermediate on the Italian riding scale, but definitely intermediate-advanced for a US rider as there's lots of technical rocky, rooty, sections. This area of Italy is a mecca for mountain bikers, and the little Italian beach towns are incredible. It was an amazing experience that I'd highly recommend.
