The Chevy Colorado makes a great Truck Bed Camping rig - 6ft bed for comfort - compact for the trail

Here's a walk thru of my new extended cab Chevy ZR2 truck bed camper build. when my nissan died I needed a truck that was road trip and off road capable. Living in Arkansas nearly all of my trips start with hours on pavement before hitting the trails...which is why I went with the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison. The build is very similar to the one I made for my Nissan Titan but with more storage under the sleeping platform. I kept many of the same features from my old build because it performed well in off road environments. The extended cab Chevy ZR2 has a 74 inch bed which has been really nice. I'm on my second year of truck bed camping and have 4 weeks on the road in this new rig. Not only is the ZR2 a capable off road vehicle...it's a nice ride on the highway too! Looking forward to road tripping all over the US this year! The only thing I might build is dedicated storage along the passenger wheel well but I'm not sold on that yet. Thanks for watching.
