Rome's most famous pizza has arrived in Milan, and of course I went to try it 🍕 I went to Bonci, its new location in Milan. I started with the classic supplì, super stringy and with a super-crunchy coating. Then it was time for the pan pizza: the pizza with flaky potatoes is a classic that never disappoints, the zucchini is fresh and summery with a super-crunchy crust, and the red pizza is pure nostalgia, the one that tastes like home. But the real star was the zucchini parmigiana: battered, fried, with tomato, mozzarella, and parmesan. Amazing. I finished with the amatriciana: guanciale, pecorino, and tomato, a nice burst of flavor.
