Inmate Testifies In Nephews' Death Penalty Sentencing Trial Over Julio Foolio Murder

Winston Leo Murphy is in prison in Florida for second-degree murder. His nephews are facing life in prison without parole or the death penalty after a jury convicted them on Friday of first-degree murder for the June 23, 2024, shooting death of Charles "Julio Foolio" Jones Jr. in Tampa. Murphy testified on Wednesday (May 13). His older brother, David Murphy, is Davion's father, and he's also in prison for second-degree murder. Both are serving 70 years.
