First Time WAP7 with DURONTO Express | HWH -YPR | Indian Railways

Catch the extremely rare spotting of the Howrah - Yesvantpur ( HWH - YPR ) Duronto Express hauled by a WAP7 Locomotive. WAP7 is presently the most powerful Passenger Class AC Locomotive of the Indian Railways with a continuous Power output of 6,000 HP and a Top permissible Speed of 140 KPH. This is probably the firs time a WAP7 is hauling this train as the crew that handles the train from Howrah to Kharagpur were not trained to handle 3 Phase locomotives earlier. The regular link for this train is a conventional WAP4 Locomotive from SRC / Santragachi Electric Shed.
