James O'Brien engages in a debate with caller Stuart, who argues that the solution to the conflict lies in backing a 'greater Israel through a federal state agreement,' claiming that the events of October 7th have shown a two-state solution is no longer possible. The conversation takes place as a ceasefire has been reached, resulting in a halt to hostilities. Three hostages and 90 Palestinian prisoners have been released, as more than 630 humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza as the first day of the truce came to a close. Emily Damari, 28, a British-Israeli citizen, Romi Gonen, 24, and Doren Steinbecher, 31, were the three first hostages released today by Hamas as part of the deal. The hostages were healthy, and are being kept at a hospital for monitoring.
