Causative verbs are commonly used in everyday conversation and writing. That's why it's important to understand the causative structure when it comes to the verbs HAVE, GET, MAKE, LET, and HELP. These are verbs we use to indicate that someone or something causes something to happen. In this case, the subject causes the action but does not do the action.
