Kyrgyzstan’s ULTIMATE horse trek to Son-Kul Lake (3-days) 🇰🇬

We are so excited to share our best travel experience with you! This was a 3-day horse trek though Kyrgyzstan, to the beautiful Son-Kul lake. This is an alpine lake at about 3300 metres elevation. The night before we stayed in a village called Kyzart. At about midday we head across to the stable where we get acquainted with our horse before we set off. During this horse trek we stay in traditional nomad yurts across the steppes. This is such a great way to have an authentic experience, we felt like we were really getting a local perspective. This experience is by far one of the most beautiful things we have ever done. We would recommend this to anybody wanting to visit Central Asia.
