Nevermore - The Heart Collector - Cover by Jordan Guthrie

Here's my attempt at the first Nevermore song I ever heard. I hadn't heard of Nevermore until around 2008, but I was hooked as soon as I heard this song. I was blown away by the emotion in Warrel Dane's voice and later blown away by Jeff Loomis' guitar playing after digging into more of their discography. When I first started singing, I used to practice singing various Nevermore songs, primarily songs from Dead Heart in a Dead World, This Godless Endeavor and The Obsidian Conspiracy. This cover was a particularly difficult one to make, not only because of the performance itself, but also because of the loss of one of my favorite vocalists.
