Its Not A Mod episode 5

Welcome back to Episode 005 of The Dial 24. Today we're diving into one of the biggest debates in the watch community: What actually qualifies as a Seiko Mod? I've built plenty of watches over the years through Time Panda Watches, and I've worked with everything from NH35 movements to genuine Seiko components. So this isn't coming from someone on the outside looking in. The problem isn't building watches. The problem is calling something a Seiko Mod when it was never a Seiko to begin with. If you buy a case, dial, hands, bezel, bracelet, and an NH35 movement from AliExpress and assemble it yourself, did you build a watch? Absolutely. Did you modify a Seiko? That's where the debate begins. In this video we'll discuss: ✅ What a true Seiko Mod is ✅ The difference between Seiko Mods and Watch Builds ✅ NH35 movements and aftermarket parts ✅ Why branding matters ✅ Why builders shouldn't be afraid to call their creations what they really are Drop a comment below and let me know where you stand on the debate.
