Welsh Soprano Janet Price sings excerpts from her performance as Camilla in Mercadante's 'Orazi e Curiazi' with Opera Rara in April 1975. Sento l'estremo anelito (around 25'30) I am currently a student of Janet's at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, UK. Janet is now retired but I asked her if she had any recordings from performances during her earlier career and she eventually gave in and gave me a CD with some of her bel canto style singing from the 1970s. I really enjoy listening to these rare excerpts and thought that others would appreciate the beauty of this bel canto singing too! I asked for Janet's permission before sharing and she was more than happy for others to listen and enjoy.
