#Hasselblad #X2DII #LeafShutter #OutdoorPortrait #Lighting This video is a work log explaining why I use the Hasselblad X2D II and Leaf Shutter for outdoor portrait photography. When many people talk about Hasselblad, they first think of image quality, color rendition, and medium format sensors, but the advantages I feel most strongly in actual shooting are a bit different. When using lighting in bright outdoor settings, it allows me to control the brightness and density of the background via shutter speed while maintaining the subject's essence. In this shoot, I compared the same location with images using only natural light, with the background and subject balanced, with the background darkened to separate the model, and with the lighting more boldly exposed. What matters is not simply the shutter speed number. It is about how quickly and naturally you can move to the desired atmosphere on location. It is because of that freedom that I continue to choose the Leaf Shutter system for outdoor portrait photography. This video was produced with the support of Hasselblad.
