Trains at: Atherstone, WCML, 22/08/16

An excellent but slightly damp evening visit to Atherstone on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains, London Midland and various freight from Freightliner and GBRF, the highlight being a glorious 70 pounding through the station. I really liked the old worldy feel of this station and I would happily come back here, you really only need an hour here though to get a healthy mixture of traffic. My next station is Nuneaton.
