Ayushi involved several people in the alleged plot to kill her mother, Neeraj, and Neeraj Sharma's activities were monitored. Then came July 4th, when Neeraj's mother, Neeraj Sharma, had gone to get her sixteen-year-old son's physiotherapy done. She told her daughter Ayushi that she needed to return home immediately, citing urgent work. Neeraj Sharma was returning home on her scooter, unaware that death awaited her nearby. Everything unfolded as Neeraj's daughter Ayushi had planned. The daughter did not want her mother to get a compassionate job instead of her father.
