The Lord has entrusted us with a vineyard—our own lives and our community—hoping that, far from pride and selfishness, we will learn to bear fruit of love, justice, and peace. When we place our security in our own possessions instead of in God's faithfulness, we distance ourselves from the only true Owner. So, when the priest asks, "What part of your life are you managing today to be a worthy offering to the Lord?"
