Caught in a -16°C Heavy Snowstorm – Building a Warm Survival Shelter Inside a Fallen Tree
Alone in a -16°C blizzard, I set out on a two-day winter camping adventure in deep snow with no tent and no sleeping bag. The harsh conditions made every task more difficult, and even a moment of carelessness could have led to hypothermia. On the first day, I battled heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures while searching for a safe place to stay. By the second day, I found a better location and built a warm survival shelter beneath a fallen tree. Using bushcraft skills and natural materials, I created a protected space, started a fire on the snow, and worked to maintain body heat in the extreme cold. During the trip, I also crafted a bushcraft pot hanger for cooking over the fire and prepared a delicious meat pizza in the wilderness. Throughout the video, you’ll see the challenges of winter survival, the importance of staying dry and warm, and how quickly cold weather can become dangerous if you’re not paying attention. This is a raw and authentic bushcraft and wilderness survival experience, showcasing both the beauty and the challenges of winter camping in the wild. Thanks for watching.
